"I LOVE YOU" series
“I Love You” is a series about emotions and situations that often remain unnoticed, unspoken or acknowledged.
Each painting emerged from an intense process of reflection, searching for the most honest way to translate these experiences into visual form.
INDECISION
I created this painting around the feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be, yet not knowing what to do once you’re there.
Acrylic
Paper canvas in frame
51x36 (with frame)
LAGGING (in use)
Being still while everything around you moves. Noise, movement, and expectations surround you, yet you remain stuck in place. The world moves on without you in it. Unable to keep up, and unable to love yourself.
Acrylic
Paper canvas in frame
75,5 x55,5
OVERLOOKED
A reflection on how the gaze lingers on the body, while the face fades into the background.
Acrylic

VOICELESS
The person in the painting represents those who are overlooked by society, people whose stories go unheard and are ignored. Seen by many as invisible or even something to ignore. He sits here not by choice but by circumstance.

ENCLOSED
A figure unable to express itself, set against a space that does not reflect who they truly are. The world around them feels distant, leaving them unable to identify themselves, with a lingering sense of never truly belonging.

YEARNING (in exposition)
A figure worn down by searching for help. Every attempt to find it meets the same end, dissolving into silence.

OVERSTIMULATED
When sound, light, expectations and thoughts overlap until they lose their edges. Everything arrives at once, too quickly to be sorted or softened.
